Isaiah 35

¹Some day, it will be as though the desert and other very dry areas are glad [DOU];

²the desert will produce flowers abundantly;

³So, encourage those who are tired and weak.

⁴Say to those who are afraid,

⁵When he does that, he will enable blind people to see

⁶Lame people will leap like deer,

⁷The very dry ground will become a pool of water,

⁸And there will be a highway through that land;

⁹There will not be any lions there

¹⁰Those whom Yahweh has freed will return to Jerusalem;
