Psalms 77

¹I cried out to God;

²In the day of trouble I sought the Lord;

³I remembered You, O God, and I groaned;

⁴You have kept my eyes from closing;

⁵I considered the days of old,

⁶At night I remembered my song;

⁷“Will the Lord spurn us forever

⁸Is His loving devotion gone forever?

⁹Has God forgotten to be gracious?

¹⁰So I said, “I am grieved

¹¹I will remember the works of the LORD;

¹²I will reflect on all You have done

¹³Your way, O God, is holy.

¹⁴You are the God who works wonders;

¹⁵With power You redeemed Your people,

¹⁶The waters saw You, O God;

¹⁷The clouds poured down water;

¹⁸Your thunder resounded in the whirlwind;

¹⁹Your path led through the sea,

²⁰You led Your people like a flock
