Psalms 48

¹Great is the LORD,

²Beautiful in loftiness,

³God is in her citadels;

⁴For behold, the kings assembled;

⁵They saw and were astounded;

⁶Trembling seized them there,

⁷With a wind from the east

⁸As we have heard, so we have seen

⁹Within Your temple, O God,

¹⁰Your name, O God, like Your praise,

¹¹Mount Zion is glad,

¹²March around Zion, encircle her,

¹³consider her ramparts, tour her citadels,

¹⁴For this God is our God forever and ever;
