Psalms 64

¹Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint:

²Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers,

³Who have whet their tongue like a sword,

⁴That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect:

⁵They encourage themselves in an evil purpose;

⁶They search out iniquities;

⁷But God will shoot at them;

⁸So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them:

⁹And all men shall fear;

¹⁰The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall take refuge in him;
