Psalms 114

¹When Israel went forth out of Egypt,

²Judah became his sanctuary,

³The sea saw it, and fled;

⁴The mountains skipped like rams,

⁵What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleest?

⁶Ye mountains, that ye skip like rams;

⁷Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord,

⁸Who turned the rock into a pool of water,
